Fire Tower

The firetower is located on a short side loop off of Trail 1. The tower was built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in 1935. If you're feeling brave, you can climb the stairs to the top of the tower and enjoy an incredible arial view of Lincoln State Park and the surrounding area. The top of the firetower can be seen sticking up just above the tree line in these photos taken from across Lake Lincoln.
