Noah Gordon Home and Mill Sites

The Noah Gordon Home and Mill Sites. Noah Gordon was a friend and neighbor of the Lincoln family. Gordon also donated the land for the Little Pigeon Church and Cemetery. Abraham Lincoln was kicked unconcious by a horse at the mill as a young boy. These sites are located just east of the amphitheatre on trail 5. New interpretive signs will be installed at these sites in 2007 thanks in part to funding provided by The Friends of Lincoln State Park and a grant from the Spencer County Community Foundation.
